Beth and I met in 1986 when I first became a teacher for the Ogden City School District. We actually met at a class at WSC, which we were both required to take in order to update our credentials to teach High School. I have so many memories of Beth, it would fill a thousand pages.
During our teaching career, we became friends, especially when we were both transferred to Ogden High. After and during her retirement we continued with our friendship, the highlight of which was a month's trip to Ireland where we visited all four regions: Ulster, Muenster, Leinster and Connacht. During our trip, she met and was loved by many of my relatives, including my Auntie Bridie and Uncle John, both in their 90's She also met many of my cousins, and of course my daughter Lorraine, and Cousin Catherine, both living in the Cork area then.
Allow me to post now some of the many pictures we took on that trip. I put in several pictures, but this is the last one uploaded, perhaps, I need to do each one separately.
Thank you for sharing this, Mary. Don’t let any of the quirks for uploading your photos defeat you. We would love to see your photos, and hear any memories that you would like to share. Thank you.
